Director Seong-Hoon Lee is the Executive Director of the Korea Human Rights Foundation, one of Korea’s leading human rights organizations, and a recognized expert in the fields of human rights, international civil society, and development cooperation.
He majored in sociology and has served as Secretary General of the International Catholic Intellectual and Cultural Movement (Pax Romana), Secretary General of Forum Asia, a regional consultative body of Asian human rights organizations, and Director of Policy Education at the National Human Rights Commission of Korea.
He also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Public Administration at Kyung Hee University, where he conducted research and taught courses on governance, civil society, and human rights.
Currently, he serves as Executive Director of the Korea Human Rights Foundation, Co-Representative of the Asian Development Alliance, and a Steering Committee Member of the International Development Cooperation Civil Society Forum. In these roles, he leads various initiatives to promote human rights–based international development, strengthen civil society, and enhance public awareness of human rights.
