Session
The Era of Human-AI Robot Co-Evolution: Humanity in Sociotechnical Reconstitution
Date- June 24 (Wed.)
Time- 13:30 ~ 14:50
Organization- Cheju Halla University

Subject- Global Jeju
Recent technological developments indicate that AI and robotics have moved beyond independent trajectories of development toward a co-evolutionary structure characterized by mutually reinforcing integration. The evolution of algorithms is transforming physical robotic systems, while the real-world data generated by robots are fed back to further advance AI. Through this reciprocal loop, almost every domain of human activities is being reconstructed. Such developments go beyond conventional narratives of automation or digital transformation; they mark a turning point in which humans, machines, and environments are interconnected within a shared learning ecosystem.
The objective of this session is to address the question “How should humans co-evolve along with the co-evolution of AI and robotics?” and to explore implementable strategic frameworks to turn the human–AI–robot co-evolution from a potential risk into an opportunity while examining near-term technological advances and social transformations.
