H.E. Mr. Asset ISSENALI is a Senior Kazakh Diplomat and Public Official with extensive experience in foreign policy, international relations and public administration. He was born on April 8, 1980. H.E. Mr. Asset ISSENALI graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy in 2001 and the Diplomatic Academy of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov in 2005. He speaks English and Korean.
H.E. Mr. Asset ISSENALI began his diplomatic career in 2001 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, serving in the Department of Consular Service and later in the Department of International Law. He also held diplomatic postings at the Embassies of Kazakhstan in Malaysia, Singapore and the Republic of Korea.
H.E. Mr. Asset ISSENALI has extensive experience working in the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2019 to 2023, he served as Consultant, Inspector and Head of Sector at the Department of Foreign Policy and International Relations of the Presidential Executive Office. From 2023 to 2024, he served as Head of Sector of the Department of Foreign Policy. Since 2024, he has been serving as Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
H.E. Mr. Asset ISSENALI holds the diplomatic rank of Counsellor of the First Class.
