The strategic approach by nations varies among each other since some would apply strategies that concentrates in securing soft power based on the big capital and strong network while others would develop their own specific public diplomacy strategic tool. Moreover, the new technologies forces a shift of global paradigm from the Third to the Fourth industrial revolution which also heralds a whole new way forward of the Asian soft power. The discourse is intended to raise transitional issues and appraise the implications that the Fourth industrial revolution casts upon the Asian soft power. A practical outlook on the way forward of the Asian soft power for adapting to the whole new paradigm will contribute to the empowerment and prosperity of the Asian region.<BR><BR>세계는 지금 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞을 준비가 되어 있는가? 이 혁명이 아시아 소프트파워에 갖는 함 의는 무엇인가? 막강한 자본과 네트워크를 기반으로 연성권력 확보에 주력하거나 독자적인 공공외교를 추진하는 등 국가별로 그 접근 방법이 다양하다. 더불어 신기술의 출현으로 3차 산업혁명에서 4차 산업혁명으로의 글로벌 패러다임 전환이 불가피해졌으며 이는 아시아 소프트파워 발전 방향에 전환기를 예고하고 있다. 이 세션은 아시아 소프트파워와 관련해 4차 산업혁명의 도래로 제기될 현안들을 점검 하고, 이러한 혁명이 아시아 소프트파워에 어떤 함 의를 지니는지 평가하기 위해 기획되었다. 새로운 패러다임에 적응하기 위한 아시아 소프트파워의 미래 비전 논의라는 실용적 접근은 아시아 지역 역량 강 화와 번영에도 기여할 것이다.
