Biography
LEE Soo Inn is the Co-founder and CEO of Enuma, Inc., a Berkeley-based education technology company she established alongside her husband, Gunho Lee. She is dedicated to developing innovative digital learning tools that empower all children—including those with disabilities—to become independent learners.
Enuma's flagship 'Todo' series has reached over 15 million downloads worldwide and is a staple in homes and schools across Korea and Japan. Enuma’s Kitkit School won the Global Learning XPRIZE hosted by Elon Musk and UNESCO. Together with its successor, Enuma School, it is used in underserved regions globally, from remote Indonesian islands to refugee camps in Bangladesh, to help children overcome illiteracy.
Most recently, she has led the development of an AI digital textbook supplement for the Korean public school system, including specialized resources for special education classrooms. For her commitment to using technology to improve learning outcomes for disadvantaged children, Soo Inn has been recognized as an Ashoka Fellow and named Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the Schwab Foundation (2020). She currently serves as a committee member of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO and an advisor to the National AI Strategy Committee.
