Organization- Jeju Free International City Development Center
Room- Diamond Hall A
Subject- Global Jeju
· (Main Theme of the Forum) The main theme of this year's Jeju Forum is " Reinventing Cooperation in a Fragmented World." The core agenda focuses on exploring new models of cooperation amid intensifying geopolitical conflicts and the rise of nationalism.
· (Current Situation) The Global Education City (GEC) possesses a world-class educational environment that is rare to find both domestically and internationally, characterized by top-tier infrastructure and an active, self-driven parent community.
· (Key Challenges) However, the lack of cooperation among international schools has limited collaboration with external organizations and slowed down the integration of parents, leading to a loss of the city's overall competitiveness. Therefore, it is essential to establish a GEC cooperative network and expand collaboration with external entities.
· (Leverage Assets) Present the GEC’s existing infrastructure and community assets through the forum to enhance potential cooperation with interested corporations and universities.
· (Strengthen Competitiveness) With this session, we would like to build a cooperative network with major domestic corporations and universities, thereby boosting the unique and differentiated competitiveness of the GEC.
