[Korea National Diplomatic Academy 국립외교원] Recent intensification of US-China rivalry and uncertainty caused from it, South Korea and ASEAN countries needs to seek a responding preemptive strategy. Therefore, in this session, prominent panelists from ASEAN countries will discuss how US-China rivalry affects Korea-ASEAN cooperation and whether the rivalry acts as a push factor or a pull factor. Finally, the direction for Korea-ASEAN cooperation and specific ways to cooperate will be discussed. 최근 미중경쟁의 심화로 인해 한국과 아세안 국가들은 이에 대한 선제적 대응 전략을 모색할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 세션에서는 ▲미중경쟁의 심화가 한-아세안 협력에 미치는 영향, ▲미중경쟁 관계가 한-아세안 협력의 추진요인(push factor)인지 유인요인(pull factor)인지, ▲미중경쟁 상황에서 한-아세안 협력의 지향점, ▲한국과 아세안이 이를 위해 구체적으로 해야 하는 것 등에 대해 저명한 전문가들과 함께 논의하고자 함.
