Climate Crisis and the Road to the COP 26		 Crystal Hall E
The events being held in Glasgow and Milan are likely to be game changing for global cooperation in climate change. Buyoed by new climate leadership from the world’s largest emitters, this session invites experts to discuss the updated facts concerning the impending climate crisis. In preparation for COP26 in Glasgow and the Pre-COP in Milan, presenters and discussants are invited to share knowledge, perspectives, and future initiatives of Korea, the UK, and Italy. Most importantly, participants are encouraged to discuss the role of the future generation in combatting humanity’s greatest existential threat.

글라스고우와 밀란에서 개최되는 COP26과 Pre-COP26은 기후변화를 위한 국제협력에 핵심적인 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 세계 최대 온실가스 배출량 국가들의 강력한 기후 리더십에 힘입어, 본 세션은 기후변화 전문가들을 초청, 다가오는 기후위기에 관한 논의를 진행하고자 한다. COP26과 Pre-COP26에 앞서 대한민국, 영국, 이태리의 기후위기 대응 전략과 기후위기의 당사자인 청년세대의 역할에 대한 담론의 장이 되기를 기대한다.
