Man-Yol Yi is an honorary professor at Sookmyung Women’s University. He is also the Chairman of the Commemorative Committee for Kyo-Shin KIM and the President of the South-North Korean Cultural Exchange Association. He graduated from Seoul National University, majoring in Sociology and a Ph.D in Literature, and served as a professor at Sookmyung Women’s University, the representative of the International Civil Exchange Society for Foreign workers, the Chairman of the Public Jury for the Meritorious of the Independence, and the Chairman of the Council for the Christian Professors in Korea. In addition, he acted as the Chairman of the Ethics Committee for the Public Service in Seoul and the 8th Chairman of the National History Compilation Committee.
