Biography
Seoyoung LIM is a Manager, Department of Climate Change Action, Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco) in Incheon, Republic of Korea. She joined the K-eco in 2006. Through more than decade of career, she has diverse experiences from domestic environment policy, including Korea Emission Trading Schemes, to international cooperation programmes such as Seoul Initiative Network on Green Growth for Asia and the Pacific region. In addition, she has participated in various international environmental conferences, including the Rio+20 Summit for sustainable development and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change as a government delegate. Especially, she has been in charge of Article 6, the international carbon market, of the Paris Agreement negotiation since 2016.
She holds an M.A. in Public Policy from the Graduate School of Public Administration of Yonsei University, Republic of Korea, and a B.A. in International Trading and Business Administration from Kyunghee University, Republic of Korea.
