Biography
Ki-Wook Kwon is an associate professor of Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior in the School of Business at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois. Before joining Konkuk University, he taught at the University of Illinois as a visiting assistant professor and worked at the Samsung Economic Research Institute as a researcher. He is currently the chair of the academic committee of the Korean Association of Industrial Business Administration and an executive director of five academic associations, including the Korean Academy of Management. He is also a member of the Academy of Management and an editorial board member of five journals, including the Korean Journal of Management and the Korean Journal of Human Resource Development. His research publications have appeared in top-tier international journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Industrial Relations. His excellent research has been recognized by the Academy of Management, the National Research Foundation of Korea, the Korea Productivity Association, and Konkuk University. He is a former or current member of the public service evaluation board of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
