Incheon Airport, Songdo Intelligent City, Cheongna International City, Incheon Grand Bridge, and Incheon Free Economic Zone are the Brain Child of Dr. Park. Since Dr. Park had made and announced the plan ‘International Business Hub City project’ in 1986, he has successfully struggled to make those happen until 2003. KAIST gave him the ‘GRAND AWARD FOR FUTURE STRATEGY’ in 2005. The Korea Institute of Urban Planners also gave him the first ‘AWARD FOR URBAN PLANNER OF KOREA’ in 2018. And the world recognized Incheon Airport as the best and Songdo City as the model of the future city.
Dr. Park had worked for the Incheon Metropolitan City Government as the Director General of City Planning and the Assistant Mayor. He had worked for the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs as the Assistant Minister of Local Finance and the Local Tax Administration Office. He had worked for the National Emergency Management Agency as the Administrator.
