Insang Yoo is currently serving as the head of LG CNS Smart City Business Group. He joined the company in 2002 and was responsible for the strategy for the Seoul Metropolitan Transportation New Transit Card System project. Since 2010, he has exported LG’s advanced transportation systems to other countries, including Colombia, Greece, and Malaysia. In recognition of smart city expertise, he became a smart city special committee member under the Presidential Committee on the 4th Industrial Revolution. In 2017, he was named one of the top 100 technology leaders for the futureed by the National Academy of Engineering and received an award from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.
