Dr. Edna Co serves as a member of the Advisory Council to the Philippine Civil Service Commission and a board member of a number of non-government organizations and foundations. She served as a consultant to a number of international development organizations and international political foundations, and a technical panel member in the field of public administration under the Philippine Commission for Higher Education. Her scholarly works won her International Publication Awards by the University of the Philippines and garnered other academic honors, including professorial chairs.
Dr. Co was Executive Director of the Center for Integrative and Development Studies and Vice President for Public Affairs of the University of the Philippines. Dr. Co currently serves as Director of the Centre International de Formation des Autorités et Leaders (CIFAL) Philippines and Associate Fellow of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
