Moonsoo Cho was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1959. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering at Soongsil University, an MBA at Western Illinois University, an MS, and a Ph.D in Industrial Engineering at the University of Iowa, USA. He has been working as a professor in Industrial & Information Systems Engineering since 1996, and currently works as the chairman of the Faculty Senate at Soongsil University. He has published more than 20 theses in each SCI and domestic publications, written and translated about 20 books in each case, and more than 200 working papers. His research interests include logistics, layout design, and concurrent engineering among others
