Congresswoman Young KIM is a Republican Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing California’s 40th District. Born in Incheon, South Korea, she earned her B.B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1985. Before entering elected office, she worked as a business owner and financial analyst and served on the staff of U.S. Representative Ed Royce of California from 1993 to 2013. She later served in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016. After running for Congress in 2018, she was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020 and has served since January 2021.
