Senator Andy KIM is The U.S. Senator representing New Jersey. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he graduated from Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, before attending Deep Springs College and earning his B.A. from the University of Chicago. A Rhodes Scholar, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Oxford in 2010. He went on to serve at the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the National Security Council, building extensive experience in foreign policy and national security. He was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 and served New Jersey in the House from 2019 until December 2024. In 2024, he was elected to the U.S. Senate for a term ending in January 2031 and took the oath of office on December 9, 2024.
