Biography

Since 2025, LEE Ho Jun, a 10th-grade student at Korea International School, has been serving as a supporter of the Jeju Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin Eco Legal Person Supporters Group. He has actively participated in a variety of initiatives aimed at promoting the conservation value of the Jeju Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin and supporting its designation as South Korea’s first Eco Legal Person. These activities include plogging campaigns, marine litter recycling programs, and the planning of “Dolphin Supporters Day” events. In particular, to foster nationwide public support for the Eco Legal Person system, he has worked as a youth journalist. In this role, he published a column in the economic magazine 'Economist korea' titled “Protect the Jeju Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin as Korea’s First Eco Legal Person.” He also participated in the 2025 Korea Youth Journalism Awards, where he won the KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) President’s Award for an article highlighting the endangered status of the Jeju Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin.
