KO Woo Chan is a Seasoned Expert who has led infrastructure and information security initiatives at Kakao and is currently overseeing Kakao Corp., Cloud & Infra. Starting as the Head of the Infrastructure Team at Kakao in 2011, he contributed to the operation and stability enhancement of the company’s large-scale service infrastructure. In 2015, he served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Kakao, where he strengthened the company’s information security framework and governance. He was later appointed Executive Vice President in charge of Infrastructure at Kakaoenterprise, leading its cloud and enterprise infrastructure business. Since 2022, he has been serving as the Head of Infrastructure Division at Kakao, responsible for the group-wide infrastructure strategy and operations.
