MOON Jin Seog is a Member of the Korea-Japan Parliamentarians’ Union and a Member of the 21st and 22nd National Assembly of the ROK, representing Cheonan-si Gap, Chungcheongnam-do, as a Member of the Democratic Party of Korea. He currently serves on the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee and holds the position of Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Parliamentary Operations of the Democratic Party of Korea. He is also active in the Parliamentary Democracy Forum for the Future of the National Assembly and the Historical Justice Forum of the National Assembly. His previous roles include Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and Chair of the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Committee of the Democratic Party of Korea, as well as membership in the National Assembly Steering Committee and the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts. He also served as an Administrative Officer at the Office of the President and as Policy Chair of the Korean Peasants League. He holds Master’s degrees from Waseda University and Korea University, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
