LEE Seong Kweun is a Member of the Korea-Japan Parliamentarians’ Union and a Member of the 17th and 22nd National Assembly of the ROK, representing Saha-gu Gap, Busan, as a Member of the People Power Party. He currently serves as Floor Spokesperson of the National Assembly Intelligence Committee and as a Member of the National Assembly Climate, Energy, Environment and Labor Committee. He is also active in the National Strategy Forum in the Era of Global Order Transition and the National Assembly Population Strategy Forum 2.0. His previous positions include service on the National Assembly Commerce, Industry and Energy Committee and the Unification, Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee. He has also served as Vice Mayor for Economic Affairs of Busan Metropolitan City, Secretary for Civil Society Affairs at the Office of the President, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Kobe, Japan, Standing Auditor of KOTRA, Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Grand National Party, and Adjunct Professor of Political Science and Diplomacy at Dong-eui University. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from Waseda University.
