JANG Ki Tae is a Professor and currently Head of the Graduate School of Mobility (Cho Chun Shik) at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), where he also serves as Director of the KAIST Mobility AX Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Transportation) from UC Berkeley and has been a faculty member at KAIST since 2012. He contributes to national transportation policy as a member of the National Transport Commission and the Metropolitan Transport Working Committee under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Since 2021, he has served as Director of the KAIST Center for Eco-friendly Smart Vehicles, located within the Jeju Hi-Tech Industry Complex, overseeing applied research, technology commercialization, and startup incubation. He is currently advancing a science and technology talent development initiative within the Complex in collaboration with Jeju National University, under the Four Poles Three Special Zones Science and Technology Innovation Support Project.
