I joined the international department of the People's Daily in August 2006 and worked as a correspondent for the Seoul Bureau of the People's Daily from January 2008 to March 2013. From March 2013 to November 2016, I served as the deputy editor of the international news edition of the People's Daily, and from November 2016 to October 2021, I served as the director of the Pyongyang Bureau of the People's Daily. From October 2021 to January 2024, I was the editor-in-chief of the international news edition of the People's Daily and was dispatched to Korea again from January 2024 to serve as the Chief of the People's Daily's Seoul Bureau.
