I am the General Manager of the Smart Aging Care Department at the Business Development Center, DX & CPS Division, Panasonic Holdings Corporation. I lead the development of solution businesses aimed at addressing social challenges associated with aging societies.

Since joining Panasonic in 2000, I have been engaged in R&D and business development across various domains. I initially worked on the standardization of optical disc technologies at the corporate R&D division. In 2010, I transitioned to business planning and development for smart home appliances, leading the launch of IoT services for eight major home appliances in 2012.

In recent years, I have focused on applying smart technologies to the healthcare and elderly care sectors. I led the development of “LIFELENS,” a productivity improvement system for nursing care facilities, launched in 2019. In 2023, I proposed a preventive care DX solution, which wased for Japan’s Cabinet Office SIP program. In 2026, I presented Panasonic’s Smart Aging Solution at CES.

Recognizing aging as a global challenge, I am committed to contributing to international solutions that enhance quality of life and sustainable societies worldwide.
