Ravi Velloor is Associate Editor of The Straits Times, Singapore, the flagship publication of the Singapore Press Holdings Group. Formerly Foreign Editor of the paper, he is an award-winning journalist, public speaker, and moderator at public panels. Aside from editorials, he writes the Straits Times' influential Speaking of Asia columns and a second column, In Good Company, which focuses on business and personalities. Mr Velloor previously worked with Bloomberg News, Time Inc., and Agence France-Presse in a career spanning 37 years. His book IndiaRising: FreshHope, New Fears was published by ST Press in March 2016.
