Biography

CHANG Sang Sik, President of the Institute for International Trade at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), is a trade expert with extensive experience in trade, commerce, and supply chain issues. Since joining KITA in 1992, he has held a number of senior positions in both overseas operations and trade research, including serving in Washington, D.C. He now leads the Institute for International Trade, where he provides strategic insights on Korea’s trade response and policy direction. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in economics from Yonsei University, an MBA from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, and a Ph.D. in International Trade from Konkuk University. He has also served on a range of government committees related to trade and industrial policy.
