Biography

After his Ph.D. in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin, SONG Tae Soo taught ‘Labor Studies (Arbeitslehre)’ at the Korea Employment and Labor Education Institute while conducting research on employment relationship and the labor market. He has also long participated in civic movements and devoted efforts to social reform. Beginning with his doctoral dissertation on German reunification, he has conducted research on German reunification alongside comparative research on the reunification of the Korean Peninsula for over 30 years. His numerous publications include “The Future of the Labor Movement”, “Theory of Democratic Citizenship Education in Korea”, “European Xenophobia”, and “Germany's Peaceful Reunification and the Development of Unified Germany Over the Past 20 Years”.
