Gary Samore is the Executive Director for Research at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He served for four years as President Obama’s White House Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). In December 2015, he was appointed to the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board (SEAB) under Secretary Ernest Moniz and served until January 2017. Dr. Samore was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Nonproliferation and Export Controls during the Clinton Administration.
