IM Dae Hwan is the Director of National Youth Support Center at the Korea Youth Foundation, where he oversees nationwide support for local youth centers and leads initiatives to strengthen the capacity of youth center professionals. Holding a master’s degree in education, he has built his expertise through roles at major national research institutes including the Korea Educational Development Institute and the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training. Drawing on this background, he developed a certification system for Youth Support Managers based on occupational analysis and continues to design and implement professional development programs such as training and refresher courses. Since 2016, he has been actively engaged in youth support, including operating youth councils, participating in local youth policy committees, and conducting research on youth employment, policy delivery systems, and youth engagement characteristics. In recognition of his contributions to the advancement of youth policy, he has received commendations from government ministries such as the Office for Government Policy Coordination and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
