SHIN Yong Kyu is the CEO of Newlake Alliance and Chairman of Invites Ecosystem, a precision healthcare platform integrating five companies, including Invites BioCore, Invites Genomics, HealthConnect, CG Invites, and Invites Ventures. The ecosystem advances personalized health management and precision medicine through big data and digital infrastructure. SHIN earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and began his career as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, where he participated in trade negotiations with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the European (EU). Transitioning to the private sector, he held leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting and A.T. Kearney Korea, advising leading Korean conglomerates across the pharmaceutical, financial, and consumer sectors. In 2008, he launched and led the Korea office of The Blackstone Group, and co-founded the Woori-Blackstone Korea Opportunity Fund I. Since 2012, SHIN has led Newlake Alliance, providing strategic advisory and private investment services across healthcare, biotechnology, and finance. Drawing from a multidisciplinary career spanning diplomacy, consulting, and global investment, he actively promotes innovation, healthcare, and sustainable growth in healthcare ecosystems and frequently speaks at international forums.
