Dr. KANG Sung Weon is the Vice President of Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). Since joining ETRI in 1989, Dr. KANG has taken on significant leadership roles, including Vice President of the Intelligent Semiconductor Research Division and Senior Vice President of ICT Creative Research Laboratory. He is also actively involved in fostering collaboration across industry, academia, and research institutions, currently serving as Vice President of several academic societies. In recognition of his contributions to AI semiconductor development and ICT innovation, he was awarded the Order of Industrial Service Medal in 2023.
