Biography
JHUN Ha Jin is the Chairman of the SDX Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable development through digital transformation (DX), green transformation (GX), and social transformation (SX). With a robust background in technology and public service, Jhun has been at the forefront of integrating innovation with climate action. Prior to his role at SDX, JHUN served as the CEO of Hancom Inc., a leading South Korean software company, and was a member of the 19th National Assembly of South Korea. He also held positions such as Vice Chairman of the Korea Venture Business Association and Chairman of the Self-Regulatory Committee of the Korea Blockchain Association, showcasing his commitment to technological advancement and ethical governance. At SDX Foundation, JHUN spearheads initiatives like the Mini Carbon Initiative (MCI), which aims to establish a voluntary carbon market by linking carbon reduction efforts with economic incentives. He emphasizes the importance of creating systems where climate actions are seamlessly integrated into economic structures, promoting both environmental sustainability and economic growth.
