KIM Mi-young, director general of the Economic Vitality Bureau, is from Jeju Island, majored in computer engineering at Jeju National University, and has gained a lot of administrative experience as a public official at Jeju Provincial Government after graduation. As a youth policy officer, she was in charge of Jeju's youth policy and played a big role in establishing Jeju's carbon neutrality vision as a low-carbon policy manager. In addition, she contributed to the establishment and operation of Jeju policies as a director of core policies of Jeju, including Jeju's cultural policy director and tourism policy director. In addition, while working as the head of the Jeju Regional Innovation Platform RIS General Operation Center, he played a big role in establishing and promoting Jeju RISE (Regional Innovation System & Education). Currently, as the director of the Jeju Economic Vitality Bureau, she is establishing a vision to promote Jeju's regional economy as well as a global digital nomad hub.
