Seonjou Kang is a Professor at IFANS of KNDA, a branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Korea. Before joining the IFANS in 2007, she taught political science at the University of North Texas. Her research centres on the issues of global governance, international financial institutions, and foreign aid. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Michigan State University in 2000. She also holds a B.A. in International Relations and an M.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University in Korea. Her academic research was published inthe European Journal of Political Research (2007), The Journal of Politics (2005), and Journal of Peace Research (2004).
