LEE Hyein is engaged in activities that promote the value of human rights and peace through the drawings of late Im Kyong jae. She advocated for the will, peace and perseverance shown through 50 years that Jeju people suffered by speaking at Peace and human rights speech contest, memory of a boy, PINO forum in Paris UNESCO Headquarter, Paris Summer School in American Graduate School in Paris, and by publishing Jeju Arirang in Amazon. In April 2025, she planned and executed a documentary exhibition “Linger in hope sprouted amidst wound” in her school. She chose to participate to voice her opinion that the 4.3 “memory bearers” must be remembered to never let another tragic history be repeated.
