CHOI Byungmo is a graduate of Seoul National University School of Law and passed the 16th National Judicial Examination of the Republic of Korea. He served as a judge at the Cheongju and Incheon District Courts, where he was committed to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding fundamental human rights. Following his tenure on the bench, he assumed the presidency of Lawyers for a Democratic Society (Minbyun), where he played a key role in advancing civil liberties and legal reform. He currently serves as an attorney at Yangjae Law Firm and contributes to environmental and community initiatives in Jeju, promoting principles of social responsibility and public interest.
