Biography

MOON Daelim is a member of the National Assembly of South Korea. He was born on November 22, 1965, in Seogwipo, Jeju Island. He became a member of the Jeju Provincial Assembly in 2006 and was later appointed as the youngest chairperson of the assembly. He served as a presidential secretary during the Moon Jae In presidential government. He also held the position of CEO at JDC, a national public enterprise. After many challenges and failures, he was elected as a member of the National Assembly in 2024. He is currently dedicated to the development of agriculture and fisheries in South Korea and the advancement of Jeju Island. In the National Assembly, he has played a leading role in revising the Jeju April 3rd Special Act and promoting legislation to protect the rights of farmers and fishers. His political career is grounded in the values of peace, coexistence, and social solidarity.
