PARK Taehyun worked as an environmental lawyer at an environmental civil society organization. He is currently a professor of Environmental Law and Earth Law at School of Law of Kangwon National University. He studies Earth Law with his colleagues at the Forum for Earth and People and is engaged in practical activities to integrate the ideas of Earth Law into human laws and institutions, such as the drafting of a Climate and Ecological Constitution and the creation of an Ecological Legal Person. He is the author of The Good Life and the Rights of Nature (2025), Jurisprudence for the Earth (2020, co-author), Earth Jurisprudence: Declaration of the Rights of Nature and Political Participation (2023, co-author), and translator of The Wild Law (2016) and The Ecology of Law (2019).
