Dr. Lee obtained his Ph.D degree from the University of Iowa, majoring in political science. His main research area is Attitude toward Unification, Discrimination, and Tolerance. He was a senior researcher from 2008 to 2011 and a research professor in 2011 at Institute for Peace and Unification Studies of Seoul National University; a research professor at BK Project Group at the department of Political Science and International Relations of Seoul National Unification from 2011 to 2013; a research professor at the department of Political science and International Relations of Soongsil University from 2013 to 2016.
