Biography

Dr. Nam is a research fellow at the Northeast Asian History Foundation. He received his MA and Ph.D in Japan’s modern history from Chiba University in Japan. He specializes in historical issues between Korea and Japan, such as Yasukuni Shrine and Japanese 'comfort women'. His main publications are Relations between South Korea and Japan 1965-2015 (Politics)(joint authors, 2015), Modern History of East Asia, Whole History 7, Asia: Era of Every War (Japanese) (joint authors, 2011).
