Biography
Dr. Kim is carrying out research on the issues of social affairs and education in connection with the Moral Education, such as Curriculum and Evaluation, Teaching and Learning, Character Education, Information Ethics, Unification of Korea and International Relations, Global Citizenship, and Global Competencies. He got his BA, MA, and Ph.D. degrees at the Department of Ethics Education, Seoul National University, and carried out a follow-up study as a Visiting Fellow at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Foreign Affairs, Syracuse University. He lectured at several universities such as Seoul National University, Dongguk University, Seoul National University of Education, Gyeongin National University of Education, and so on. He participated in the 2015 National Curriculum Revision project and is now a committee member of the National Curriculum Council of the Ministry of Education, Korea. He is a member of academic societies such as The Korean Association of Ethics, The Korean Society for Moral and Ethics Education, The Korea Ethics Education Association, Tand he Korean Elementary Moral Education Society. His current research reports are 『Research and Development of the Assessment Standards of the 2015 revised National Morals curriculum at the Primary and Middle school levels』, 『Global Citizenship Education in Korea and ASEAN: Here, Now and into the Future』, and so on.
