Dr. Heung-Soon Park is currently a professor of international & United Nations studies and the Dean of the Graduate School, SunMoon University, Korea. Dr. Park studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Columbia University and received a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, USA. He served as the president of several academic associations in Korea, including the Korean Academic Council on the United Nations System (KACUNS). Professor Park is also a member of the Policy Advisory Council of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a vice-president of the United Nations Association of Korea, and a member of the Korean National Commission of the UNESCO. Dr. Park is the author of several books and numerous articles in the field of international relations, the United Nations, and international organizations, Korean foreign policy, and peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.
