Biography
Takeshi Tamai had experience staying in Colorado, USA, for one year during his teenage years, where he leaned social environments of US citizens and their thoughts. Then he studied global economics at Soka University, and his thesis theme for his bachelor's degree was “Modern history of US-Japan relations and its trade friction,” that main idea had comes from real life in the USA.
He had stationed in Saudi Arabia for almost 2 years as a contract administrator for a chemical plant construction project as contract administrator when he worked for Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd., and had a chance to learn the diversified cultures and customs in Muslim countries there. After he joined Olympus Corporation, he experienced taking responsibility for medical marketing assignments for Russia, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Oceania regions to expand his knowledge of multi-culture mind. He has always been the person who respects cross-cultural diversity and tries to get inside people in real life. He had twice the terms of station in Seoul, Korea, from 2004 to 2008 and from 2012 to the present as an expatriate in Olympus. His mission in Korea is create an environment for healthcare that serves humanity through supplying state-of-the-art technologies of Olympus. He really expects K-TEC to be one of the most suitable environments for all healthcare professionals to be enlighten safe and efficient use of equipment and devices so that contribute their value to patients in the end.
