Professor Kim Hwa-Kyung specializes in Tourism and the MICE industry and is also an educator. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Ewha Women’s University and a Master's degree in Business Management from Yeonsei University, she finally took a Doctorate in Business Management at Gyeonggi University. Throughout the past 10 years in the Marketing Team at SHILLA Hotel and in tenure as professor for Semyeong University, she has been a professor for Jeju International University thus far. She was a vice president of the Korea Medical Tourism Academy and an adviser for the International Congress Industry under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Now, she is a judge for Tourism Quality Accreditation by the Korea Tourism Organization and an evaluator for Best Tourism Business by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. In addition, she is involved in the 4th Industrial Revolution sector as an adviser for KOTRA, Jeju Techno Park, Jeju International Electric Vehicle Expo, etc.
