Yu-hwan Koh is a professor of North Korean Studies at Dongguk University in South Korea. He is also director of the Institute for North Korean Studies at Dongguk University. In 2012, he served as president of the Korean Association of North Korean Studies. And he served as a member ofthe Presidential Committee for Unification Preparation, Republic of Korea(2014-2017). He received a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Political Science from Dongguk University.<
