Amb. (ret.) KIM Weon-jin is the Counsel of the Center for Japanese Studies at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) and Adjunct Professor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) since 2021. Before joining the KNDA, he, as a career diplomat and served as Minister of the Korean Embassy in Japan (2013-2014), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Cambodia (2014-2017), and Consul-General of the Korean Consulate General in Hong Kong (2018-2021). He graduated from Yonsei University with a B.A. in Business Administration.
