Kyung-Bin Song is currently a Professor in Electrical Engineering at Soongsil University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He is currently contributing to enhancing the reliability of the electric power system in the Rule Revision Committee and Dispute Mediation Committee of the Electricity Market Operation Council, Verification Committee of Electric Load Forecasting, the Electricity Supply and Demand Advisory Task Force, and Reliability Council of the Power System of the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy. He is a member of the Korean Electrical Society and served as the chairman of the Electricity Policy Committee and the Chairman of the Research and Investigation Committee. Kyung-Bin Song received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1986 and 1988, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas in 1995."
