Samuel HAZARD was born in Verdun in 1979. He studied History at the University of Metz (East of France) from 1997 to 2002. Then he became a professor of history and was a teacher in several high schools in Verdun. Samuel HAZARD was elected Mayor of Verdun on the 04th of April 2014. He was re-elected in June 2020. He is the Mayor of Verdun until 2026. Samuel HAZARD is also elected in the Assembly of the Department of Meuse.
