
Biography
Dr. Se-chang Ahn is the current Director General of the Climate Change Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea. Before this appointment, he served as the Director General of the National Institute of Biological Resources. Upon starting his career at the Ministry of Environment, he has held many important posts in the transportation environment, environmental industry, chemicals management, and environmental health. He also served as the Administrative Officer at the Office of the President and the Counsellor at the Korean Embassy in Kenya. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware in the U.S. and a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from Yonsei University in Korea.
