Biography

Cho, Sungeun completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses in the Department of Social Welfare at Seoul National University, then worked as a professor at the Department of Social Welfare at Seoul Christian University, and is currently working at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. When he was a university professor, he became interested in the life issues of North Koreans while teaching North Korean refugee students who entered the master's and doctoral program, and then moved to the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs' Unification Social Security Research Group. They are studying ways to social integration of the Korean Peninsula and improvement of the lives of North Koreans.
